There was no shortcut and no classroom. Eriks taught himself the craft of historical painting — the layering, the glazing, the slow build of light that the masters relied on — and went deep into the techniques of the past.
That study is what makes each reproduction faithful and each original its own quiet achievement. The methods are centuries old; the result is made for you.
